Product Overview

TB-500 is the synthetic form of the naturally occurring peptide Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid protein first isolated from bovine thymus gland. Tβ4 is one of the most abundant intracellular peptides in mammalian cells and is found at especially high concentrations in platelets, white blood cells, and wound fluid — indicating a fundamental role in the body's endogenous repair response. TB-500 refers specifically to the active fragment Ac-SDKP derived from the Tβ4 sequence, though commercial preparations typically contain the full-length synthetic peptide. It is widely studied for its roles in actin cytoskeleton regulation, angiogenesis, and systemic wound healing, and has been detected at elevated levels following tissue injury across species.

Used in a series of full-thickness rat wound experiments. Activity is consistent across the lots we've tested. Documentation is detailed.

Good product, MS peak as expected
by T. Nakamura · 2026-05-01 · ✓ Verified
★★★★☆

Mass spec showed expected molecular weight (4963 Da). Purity ran 98.7 on our HPLC, which is essentially identical to the supplier COA. Slight star deduction only because 22EXO ships in foam-only packaging, which I prefer over bubble wrap, but I think they should add a desiccant pack for thermolabile products like TB-500 even though stability data says lyophilized form is fine at ambient for short windows.

Better packaging than ___ (rhymes with peptide warehouse)

I won't name names but the prior vendor I used shipped these in zip baggies. 22EXO uses real cold packs and sealed boxes. Night and day.
